So just a quick question, for the dx-895 do I need to get a particular kind of cash drawer or can I get any kind with the phone cable looking port? When we purchased it originally we were told we had to use cash drawers from the same company but it doesn't look like a particularly special cash drawer, and I feel like the company we used was a little dodgy sometimes, so I thought I'd see if I could get one from somewhere else.

Any standard 24V cash drawer should do you just fine.
On another note - I don't really like this habit of people PM'ing all the time. This is supposed to be a shared information forum and, unless the info is genuinely private, replies should be posted in the open so that future people searching can find the solutions.
