On our till system - we have a Double button which allows us to sell double shots - the terminals are DX-895s - how does this behave with regards to stock? Does it automatically take 2 single shots off? 50ml? or some other behaviour?

Thanks in advance

Jason

If setup correctly the double/half buttons (modifier1/2) can add 2 or a 1/2 to the PLU report.

You have 2 buttons modifier 1 and modifier 2. Flag2 of each PLU controlls how these buttons work.

Half - Flag 2 of the PLU

A+E=YES all others=NO

Double - Flag 2 of the PLU

B+H=YES all others=NO

The till itself does not have what I call a stock system (epos office software can do this) but it does count the number of times these buttons are pressed/sold.

Hope this helps

Thanks - we've got Epos Office so we'll try what you've suggested.

One other quick question if you're familiar with EPOS Office - it isn't to do with double button, but more the VAT - as long as VAT flags 1-4 are configured and 2 are selected for a PLU (we've got Eat In / Take Out configured), the VAT report should be correct I assume?

Is there anything else that needs setting somewhere?

Only reason I ask is on the Z01 report, the total sales figure doesn't equal the VATable sales figures - does that mean some flags haven't been set?

Ahhhhh eat in/take away not the easiest thing to setup and also very easy to get wrong. Also not easy to maintain if your adding and changing products.

It can also be setup slightly differently depending on who has done it.

Vat shifts with the eatin/takeaway buttons. Some products are vatable if they are eatin or if they were takenaway. Some are vatable if eaten in but nonvatable if they are takenaway. Some are not vatable regardless.

Due to not wanting to tell you the wrong details I will look it up and get back to you.
