Hi I do hope you can help,
I have just recently taken over a Pub with 5 x Uniwell 890 tills working on a network however not on a back office. I have never worked with Uniwell tills nor with tills which work standalone.
On taking over the pub I need to ammend the food menu by adding / changing and removing products.
Could someone please please please advise on how I can do this?

Hi Sam,
I don't know how much you know about this cash register type or how handy you are generally with this kind of thing but here is a list of info to get you started. If you need more detail or step by step help just let me know exactly what you want to do and I'll give more detailed descriptions.
Have a play around and see if it makes sense, it's basically a case of pressing ENTER on each option to enter the menus and press CL to go back out of menus.
If you turn the key to SP
Enter the engineer code
Press CLERK I.D.
Press Program Functions
You will now have a list of all the programming options down the left hand side of the screen. Here are some of the options you will need:
122 - PLUs - This is where you can change all the details about each product, Name, Group, Price etc
123 - Clerks - This is where you can change all the clerk details, Name, Pin numbers etc
140 - Lookup PLUs - This is where you tell the till which PLUs appear under which menus
851 - PLU Button Text / Colour - This is where you change the caption and colour of each product
853 - Lookup Button Text / Colour - This is where you change the menu button colours and descriptions
Once you have finished you just press Cl 3 times to get back to the main menu, then press Clerk I.D to exit programming.
