Hi my uniwell sx 7000/8000, the one with in built printer, was set up to allow wireless keypads.
It was one of the 1st systems on the market. we no longer use the wireless keypads.
The ejf remebers only about the last 15 transactions, i remeber that they told us that this would be limited to enable the wirelss functions, how can i change the memeory to allow the full ejf. i know the egineers codes and managers codes.i can get into the egineers page.

Also, i had a problem that i cant work out:

A staff memebr put an item on a table, it was not cashed off before Z1
On the z1 report this was shown in the group sales, and the totals matched. The next day this was error corrected, and this was then shown a a minus, and the totals matched. but the cash and crads balanced, is it a till problem or a staff problem.

many thanks

john

Hello

the memory allocation is assigned under sp112 maximums but be carefull what you change in here as you can end up wipeing out half your program.

your second problem is simply the natural behaviour of the till

when you sell a plu it is recorded in the group sales and the gt figure moves forward by that amount since it has not been cashed off the "money" does not change.

when you do the z1 the group sales and money are cleared down but you will get a figure called open track which will be the balance outstanding.

when you error correct the items the next day you get the negative group sales and the gt2 rolls backwards to compensate.

again since it has still not been cashed off the "money" still remains correct

hope that helps

well despite your warning I think ive just done that!
I reduce the calerks from 50 to 20 to increase the ejf lines, which is great because i can now see my whole ejf every day.
However, i have lost most of my sp options, including PLU's, not so much of a problem because i run total control,
What i cant do is change my percentages from +/- becuase the system function flags option has also gone. total control lets me change the rates but not the +/-.
do i need and engineer, or will the reset keys work to fix this
rep and programme security checked to =1

Thanks agin for your help

John
