Epos Office – Multi buy discounts

I’d like to know how (if its at all possible) to set up a ‘multi buy discount’ on my
SX-700 tills on 3 of my bottled products.

I have 3 particular bottled products (from a range of 7) VK, Stella & Sol available at £3.50 each if purchased ‘singly’

If a customer buys any 2 of these products (not necessarily 2 of the same product…) I would like the till to adjust the charge automatically to £5.00.

At the moment I have them set up so the staff can hit the ‘double’ button (like on spirits) and the customer is charged £5.00 for 2 bottles.

This gives me problems with stock control - as a ‘double’ Stella may in fact be 1 x Stella and 1 x VK.

If I was to put an additional 3 buttons on the tills for £2.50 VK, Stella & Sol then I believe it would be more tempting for the staff to abuse the system when their ‘mates’ come in and buy just 1 bottle.

Also, it leaves too much room for human error and overcharging the customer. If it’s a large round they have to apply it in their head before entering it into the till. It’s a busy bar and this can be a pain when you’re wasting valuable seconds (and probably hovering over a till delaying the next staff members till use ……)

If a customer buys 3 of these products I want the till to automatically apply the reduction to £5 for 2 bottles and charge £3.50 for the additional 1.

I hope I haven’t made this sound too confusing …….

Any guidance on this would be much appreciated.
