Make (or modify) bitmap files in the PC so that such files are in accordance with the following
specifications. File format should be Bitmap and the color should be 256 for all graphic files below.
[Buttons and table map background image]
Buttons Table map background Note for button
File name btn0001~0300.bmp loc0001~0004.bmp
(loc0001~0008.bmp till V1.24)
Pixel size 70 (W) x 47 (H) pixels or less 1024 (W) x 640 (H) pixels or less
If background color is set as
R:255, G:0, B:255, background of
the image become transparent.
[Logo type and Sign-on image] (V2.40~)
Logo type Sign-on
File name logotype.bmp signon.bmp
Pixel size 768 (W) x 96 (H) pixels or less 216 (W) x 288 (H) pixels
Note for color:
If the bitmap file is made with 216 Web-safe colors (216 = R6 x G6 x B6), the image on AX will appear very
close to its original image.

What do you want for images?

Make them in that format specified and put them on the USB key in the root directory.

No software necessary for loading them into the AX

If it's for screensavers it will begin playing them automatically. If it's other images you need to enter engineering code 9050 to load them into the AX

For the table plan backgrounds and the sign on images you just FTP them to the AX in the right format and they appear automatically.

I've never done the buttons, but it should be a similar procedure. I've always found the AX manuals to be very clear.

But seriously you don't need any software. It's much easier to do it via USB in order to not worry about any FTP settings.

You can upload the file you want to use somewhere and I'll convert it into a AX useable format. I don't want to do any editing so prepare the files and I'll format them.

I've never done it from USB. I just use DOS command FTP to push the files up, but we only ever modify the table-plan backgrounds and the front screen, never the buttons.

I'll try from USB next time just for the sake of being able to say I've done it if I'm asked :)
