hi

im about to reprogram a uniwell ux-50 for work and i want to make sure ive got everything prepared and know what im doing as its the only till and without it i will be in a bit of trouble. i have a few questions i need answered before i use plm2000 for the first time. I have looked into compatability and plm2000 supports the ux50 - if there are any recommendations or warnings you can add, i would be grateful.

1. how long does a complete transfer/backup take?
2. what com port settings should i use for the ux50
3. have i got total contol of the button information/tax/additional menu levels on plm2000
4. are there any big no-no's when using this type of software?

thanks

hello,
i use plm2000 for sx 6600, it takes about 5 min max for
a complete transfer/backup, i'm only about 15% of ram.

as for com port settings you mite have to play with each setting because on one pc the same com port settings didnt work i have to try different ones until it worked

yes you will have total contol of the button information/tax/additional menu levels on plm2000

as far as the no no's i haven't done anything that could not be undone
hope this helps donate to the site its the best
beside tec support is very costly but here its free!!!!
