I have no idea what I'm doing. One of my TX-870's kept freezing up just after pressing any clerk button, perhaps due to some table lockout. I stupidly pressed Destructive RAM Test thinking it was just a test, or maybe just wiping recent memory, instead it has completely wiped the till.

Now I need some help to restore all my PLU's from the other till and I have no idea how to do it. I was able to ping the tills from my laptop so I reckon I can FTP into the other one. Can someone tell me how to restore settings? I've even lost the keyboard which means I have to type in settings (eg new IP settings) using blank buttons!!

HELP!!!

To setup the uniwell you need to check a number of things depending on your setup. I recommend you contact your local uniwell dealer.

If you want to try it yourself heres where to start. SP Programming.
Check that SP-200 is set a unique till number and Id number.
Check the Maxiums SP-112 are the same on your blank machine to what they are on a good machine you will proablly have to up some of the numbers.
DO NOT CHANGE MAXIUMS ON A GOOD MACHINE
Then you need to Check that SP-113 - SF 45 also match.
DO NOT CHANGE SYSTEM FLAGS ON A GOOD MACHINE
If the machine uses Ethernet then you need to set the IP in SP-201

Once this is done you should be able go to a GOOD MACHINE and then Initialse IRC SP-8800 and then Send the Program ICR SP-8899. DO NOT DO SEND ON THE BAD MACHINE or you will send a empty program to the good tills and then you will be really stuck.
