hi
can anyone help
i have just got a xea307 and have ordered a eclipse scaner to go on.
unfortunatly i have no idea about making them work together.
is the scaner just plug and play or am i going to get very confused!!
until now i have had the basic of basic till, casio140,so i could do with a little help please.

Sharps need a special cable to work with a scanner and you need to program the scanner to send the correct info to the register. I would suggest speaking to your sharp dealer.

or email honeywell direct, if your scanner is new, you will need to use the user guide to scan the settings to match the cash register (I dont have a scan sheet at the moment for this model of till but have one for the UP700 that might do) so the port needs set up on the cash register and the scanner ( settings they must be the same ) once you get the correct cable you will be able to set up and we will try help you with that.....
All UK Sharp machines are set the same way for scanners, so the 700 set up sheet will do.
Notice I put UK, I've learned from this site that other countries machines seem to be all different, especially North America.
