XE - A301 HELP!!

Hi,

Give the following procedure a try:

Turn the key to PGM
Key in 000000083
Press X
Press the Actualy Department key that you want to make Zero Vat
Press TL/NS
Turn the key to back to R

If the cash register doesn't seem to like you entering all the Zero's when entering the code 000000083, then try exactly the same procedure as above but remove the leading zeros... So if it doesn't work try this:

Turn the key to PGM
Key in 83
Press X
Press the Actual Department key that you want to make Zero Vat
Press TL/NS
Turn the key to back to R

No luck with that I'm afraid.
Register didn't like the zeros but took the other method but vat shows as before ?

How many different Tax Rates do you need to have on your till, is it just standard Vat and Vat Free?

If yes then try the following:

Turn the key to PGM
Key in 10083
Press X
Press the Actual Department key that you want to make Zero Vat
Press TL/NS
Turn the key to back to R

Does this make any difference...
If not can you show me an example of how it's showing now and explain exactly how you would like it to show.

Still no luck I'm afraid.
I do only need to show one dept as vat free. A current receipt reads like this;

Dept 01 *16.95
Subtotal *16.95
Tax1 st *16.95
Vat 1 *2.52
Net 1 *14.43

Items 1Q
***Total *16.95

The first method you gave me was accepted by the till but the receipts print as above.
Any ideas??!!
