Is there a way i can clear the ej without it printing or switch it off altogether.
i use the till in journal mode ie recipt off so it just prints my plu transactions set up the till to clear ej when i do a z1 reading but it prints out the ej which is a duplicate of what is already printed out during the day.
Costing a fortune in till rolls plus the fact i got to keep all this extra paper for the tax men.
any help please ..... P.S Sharp uk think it can be done but they dont know how!!!!!

I'm certain you can do it, can you print a program read first:
Turn to PGM
Press 2
Press TL/NS
Look on the printout for #68 and tell me the 8 numbers to the right of it (Something like 0010001)
Then I'll see what I can figure out.

Hi,
In that case, give this a try:
Turn to PGM
Press ST
Key in 68
Press X
Press ST
Press TL/NS
Turn back to R
Give it a test and let me know the results. 
If it doesn't do what you wanted please reprint the program printout and let me know what you now have for #68.
