Hi,
Does anyone know how to get software for UP 700? Saw once on a website....but never again?

There are a few programs for the 600/700 There's basic back up software, 02FD. Programming software, PosUtility and full back office software EcrManager/StockManager.
Any of these sound familiar?
I will add a few more to the list. Scantalk, Ideal, PC Pole & SDW (Sharp Data Wizard).
Be aware that these programs are friggin’ expensive. Prices are anywhere from 700 to 1000 dollars for the first terminal with additional licence fees for every additional terminal.
Customers get talked out of polling software real quick when they hear it costs as much as their register.
The 02FD software is free. You just need to make/buy the special connector cable. You can’t program or modify the register with it. It’s just does a complete memory dump on the computer for long term storage. It is designed as a backup program unlike the software mentioned above.
I'd better add that if you're in the US that's PosUtility out! It's a UK only program, unless you change your regional settings in windows.
Quite right about the prices. People love the idea of software until they see the price tag!
