SHARP UP-X200 with UP-X300 setup (and language)
The X200 has it's own application that has to be installed, but your dealer will be able to give you that too. Just make sure both versions are compatible!
Here is the set up guide for the X200 to connect to an X300 that has already been configured.X200 Set up
1. Push Reset key at the back of the X200
2. X200 should Power OFF and stay OFF
3. While power is off hold down key number “5”
4. At the same time as holding down the 5 key press the “power on” button (above the 9 key)
5. From the menu displayed, select 8 clear registry
6. After finishing select “0” to EXIT enter any key to continue
7. The X200 should now reboot
8. Upon reboot select the Master Reset key and enter password (13974682)
9. Select GOTO CE Desktop
10. Through windows explorer go to the FlashDisc on your X200 and delete all the files and folders
within FlashDisc
11. Set up the Network settings.
12. Once your network is established you are ready to insert the USB stick containing an X200 folder
in the root
13. Insert USB with the “X200” folder in the root
14. Drop the X200 into Windows Explorer with the USB inserted (may have to use reset button on
the back and select MRS then GOTO CE Desktop)
15. Select Hard Disc from Windows (Hard Disk is the USB)
16. Select the X200 folder
17. Run the X300_Start_up application within the X200 folder
18. Follow the on screen selections pressing OK
19. When the process of up loading data from the X300 Server has finished the X200 will ask to be
rebooted.
20. Power back to ON and the system should be configured, and data should be synchronised with
the X300 Server.
NB Ensure no other AP’s with same IP in range; make sure IP of X200 is set on X300 Master Terminal
list.
Just to clarify so you are not scratching your head.
This is the documentation from the Sharp website and assumes that the application is already loaded.
If you have no app installed then the above may confuse.
If my memory serves me correctly if you have no app installed miss out steps 8, 9 and 10

My apologies. You're right. Ignore those steps. The 200 will go straight to ce with no app installed. Shows how much i read Sharp documentation (probably as much as Sharp do)!
