Once you've made the 9 pin up you could always make a 9 pin to rj45 to connect to the till.

Good idea! ill source connectors today Porty and make it happen....
pulling this till down looks like a mission! I first started the attack from under the cash draw by removing bottom plate and rubber foot scups, Then noticed that the 700 slides to the left off the cash draw top but it didn't budge  then I observed one screw fixing the steel bracket plate under the till to the cash draw which I guess has to be removed from within the till.
I have always liked Sharp products up until this point, But seems they have built these things to cost you money if anything is to go wrong with them. !Chin But in saying that, I guess if it were my business I would probably have done the same thing so I cant be to hard on them

You can actually get to the attaching screw without taking the thing to bits. You can see it in the centre when you lift the cover for the receipt/journal rolls.
At least you know how to take a cash drawer apart now!

Hi Guys
Just an update, I've finally got this till connected to my pc & now Begins the programing fun & Games.
I am programing this till from scratch meaning there was no information on this till when I purchased it & I guess it would have been much easier if there was, as I could of just adjusted the info on it to my liking.
unfortunately this is not the case and after approx 2 hours a day for the last 7 days have finally entered 5 items on it with pricing !excited
I did a test transaction with the info I have entered but the drawer does not want to open ;R
But it does however work when I do a no sale so im guessing its a setting somewhere in the programing...
