i have got a sharp epos we have used the machine for 5 years no probs today the screen has fill with the following message can anyone help

could it be a loose ram chip havnt tried it yet just though i would ask before having a bash

Ram error means it has lost its program. You will have to master reset and re-program from scratch.
Can be caused by a number of things, but most common would be the internal backup battery is no longer holding its charge and the machine has lost power.
Get a new battery from a sharp dealer and either get them to set it up for you (if you dont want the whole thing done, i would get them to setup the tricky bits)
