Welcome to EpoS Wizard!
Hi. It's unlikely. It could be one of the chips becoming unreliable, or a connection on the board. Sometimes just washing and drying the board can help, as they can get a bit of muck betweent the tiny pins, and it will make them go unstable. I have had them come right before for no good reason too, so I would just see how it goes, and use it as a basic machine for now. Once the reliability is proven, then re-prog it to your needs, or have your tech dump the prog by software. remember, once you see the break error, it often means it just wiped everything, so beware when re-programming.
It's just gone down again What exactly do you mean by "Washing and Drying"
Sounds like it's worth a try then.
Remove the pc board.
Run some warm water in a tub, and add a couple of squirts of dishwashing liquid.
Soak the board in the water for about an hour, then use something like a toothbrush to gently scrub around the pins of the components.
Run a tub of cold water, and rinse the board in it. I usually give it 2 or 3 rinses in cold water to get all of the washing liquid off.
Then dry the board with a hair dryer, or fan heater. Don't get it too close. Just make sure tthe board is luke warm while drying. turn the board around every 10 mins to warm the front and back.
When it is thoroughly dry, refit it into the machine, and do a reset.
Good luck.
Mark
Will try, nothing to loose.
Thanks.
