I've just got a A310 and i need to perform a master reset, I've found how to do that, but I was wondering if there was a way to do it without resetting the tax rate and departments as they're exactly as I want them already. Thanks in advance for any help :)

Sorry :( I've got another question..... I'm trying to set up department 1 and 2, not as fixed prices, but just so that they show as different categories on the receipt and journal. So that i'd enter 35.00 for example, then the department, then TL/NS to complete the sale...the problem is that i can only seem to find how to do it with set prices as a PLU key. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm probably being really thick here, it wouldn't be the first time haha! Jo :)

in pgm if you hit the department twice, you can set the halo [high amount lock out]
so if you wanted to be able to ring in a maximum of £30 enter 0000033 £40 would be 0000043 thats maximum number followed by maximum number of zeros.

nope - if you ram clear the till - all settings will be lost - why do you need to clear the ram if its set up as you wish?
also, if there are any special non default buttons set up on the keyboard, you will require a service key to access the
keyboard allocation programming.

I can probably guess what you're wanting to clear from the till. Unfortunately you need a service key to do that.
