Hi Guys

Firstly i would like to say what a great site this is, lots of help and advice.
Ok, my problem...I have acquired a 2nd hand A-570 and started decided to clear everything down through Z2 to clear memory. Unfortunatley the clerk log on wouldnt work so i tried a couple of other buttons. This has now disabled the keyboard other than the reciept and journal feeds and the digital readout states Z2. I have tried to reset by turning to PGM2 and turning off and on while pressing the receipt and journal feeds but all that happens is a mountain of paper out of the reciept reel.
Can anybody help please?

Try turning to pgm-2 then turn off then hold down the buttons while switching on.

If it doesn't work then it may have not been setup to allow it. There is a service line that needs to be set to allow it in PGM2.

Do you have a service key?

Just check something for me...

Are you using the product layout? Check to see if you have a program/character layout. Try pressing the CL on both and see if any make a difference.

Sometimes dealers program the buttons in different positions and the program layout always defaults to its original when you are in program mode.
