I need some help please 
I need to re-code a key in the register, we have done it before but have lost the instructions on how to do it. I need a key to have a name...lets say Jeans and each time someone buys jeans I need to key in the correct price as there are different types and sizes. How do we go about coding a key to do that manual price and no taxes? We can not figure out how to over ride the field that asks for a price to be entered to code the key. Does anyone know? Is there a special code to enter so that the price has to be entered manually each time we use that key?

Hi,
I assume you are using departments and not PLUs because thats how these cash registers are normally setup as standard. If this is the case then these should be the instructions.
Programming the description of a Department key:
Turn the key to PGM
Press #/TM/SBTL
Press 1
Press . (Decimal Point)
Press the actual key that you want to change to Jeans
Key in the new description for this key using the alph keyboard
Press #/TM/SBTL
Press CA/AT
Programming a Department to allow different prices and be Non Taxable:
Turn the key to P
Key in 73
Press @/For
Press the actual department key that you want to program these settings to
Press CA/AT
Then to use this new key you should just need to key in the amount, lets say 1000 then press the key.
