Hi,

I want to connect up-800 to my PC.
But my pc has only USB inputs.
Is it possible to connect pc with USB cable on PC side?

Software would be used POS-utility therefor.

You'd need a usb to serial converter. More trouble than they're worth mind you! Then an rs232 cable too.
The latest pos utility supports tcp/ip, so you can connect using standard network cables (crossover if just connecting the two).

Hi

Is standard network cables same with Ethernet Cable?
Have I understood correct?

It's the same thing. Straight through cables if going through a hub, crossover cable if just going from the pc to the till.

I have the same till but cant find the software to program this till. Does anyone have a link where this can be downloaded from?
