In particular, i want to add the #serv key, time in/out key, break in/out key. How do i go about this. Please assist.

If you've done a master reset and you want to change the keys to allow you to do different things, there's a lot more involved than just putting the keys on the keyboard. You'll have to make sure the files are set up correctly for the options you want and also the service lines are set properly.
You'd have to list every option you want to get a full answer.

A ROM based till like the 771 (i.e. not a pc) has a list of files which control how much memory is allocated for each function. For example if you want overlapped clerks, you have to allocate memory specifically for holding each clerks transaction information, or if you want the electronic journal to hold more information you have to increase the amount of memory allocated to that. However it's a balancing act. There is a limit to the memory in these machines so if you want to increase something you have to decrease something else.
The service presets are for setting options that shouldn't need changed once they're set. For example, how clerks sign on, either with a button on the keyboard or with a separate key.
If you want to go into service mode to see these, here's how:

1) Turn off the AC switch.
2) Set the reset switch to "ON" position
3) Turn on the AC switch. (Wait one second)
4) Turn to "OFF" the reset switch

To come back out, just keep pressing cancel.
