Hi
ive had this Sharp UP-3000 till for over 5-6 years and, so i decided to see if i could update my ECR manager software for this till, however after looking through the sharp download website and various google searches i have had no luck. it would be greatful if somone would let me know if there is any hope on this.

That would be chargable, and you would need to go through a dealer to get the latest version. The software company only work through dealers.
What version number are you running? (Help-About)
Graham from SharpSoft (developers of Ecr Manager) here, just to confirm that:
(1) As others have stated, we sell via dealers as opposed to directly to end users.
(2) If anyone has an older version of our software that they wish to upgrade & no idea of who their dealer is then I'll be happy to put them in touch with a relevant dealer for their area.
(3) As of today (2nd February 2013), the current versions of our Ecr / Stock Manager software are V6.02 for EPROM models such as the UP-3300 and V3.04 for Sharp Pos & Venta Pro.
(4) Upgrades from an earlier version family of our software, e.g. V4.xx or V5.xx EPROM to V6 are chargeable on a sliding scale, in accordance with the age of the system to be upgraded.
(5) Upgrades within the current version family (e.g. V6.00 to V6.02) are by negotiation with your dealer, although we do make a small admin charge if we have to send out an additional CD.
