Hi,
can anyone tell me if ECR Manager 5 is compatible with windows 10,
i have 5 Sharp ECRrs
2xUP811-F
1xUP800F
2xUP700
the old laptop died, but managed to restore software, but since restore have been to communicate.
IP/Gateway match existing laptop.
is there more up to date version of ECR manager around?
anyone had issues in windows 10?

Apologies for the late reply, not been on here for several months.
To the best of my knowledge, Ecr Manager V5 will work on most Windows 10 systems, although I have heard of a handful of sites where it is unable to write its per computer ID to the Windows registry. This can lead to communications not being attempted because Ecr Manager thinks that the location in question is not connected to the computer that is attempting the communications, although this only affects communications where connection to a specific PC is necessary, such as local RS232.
Ecr Manager V6, which does not attempt to write to the registry & thus avoids this problem, has been available since mid 2012, but is a chargeable upgrade from V5.
