SPS2000 Questions

I am running v3.00g17l. I purchased a Programmers Reference manual which has helped but there are still some issues for which I don't have answers.

1. How do you change the names of the Keylink screens? From the existing program, I see that it's possible but whenever I click on a tab with the Keylink name, it just gives me the number and a calculator pad to enter ONLY numbers. I would like to update Keylink 23 to "Beer/Wine" for instance so I can easily identify the screens in the screen listing.

2. There is only one register. I have connected a cash drawer to Serial Printer off COM Port 1. The drawer opens after a sale but I keep getting drawer open alarms when it's closed. I have setup 3 test employees each with the same drawer config. OPEN DRAWER# DIRECT (0-2) VIA (3-9): I have it set to Reg0, Serial printer off Port 1 (I have the printer connected to COM1). I've turned off the drawer open alarms but I would like to have that enabled but I cannot find the source of the false "drawer open alarm". The self test for the drawer just give me: "DRAWER" followed by a popup of "CLOSED". I would have expected the test to open the drawer as part of the test?

3. I've tried to enable Time Keeping and I've created Job Codes for each of the employees but when I click on CLK In/Out, I get the pop-up but there are no job codes from which to choose?

4. The existing program requires EAT IN/TAKE OUT/DRIVE THRU be set which is OK and the Keys are on the main menu along with other selections. The problem is it does not enforce the rule until you get down into the next screen say Picking the type of pizza which forces you to back out to the front screen to make the EAT IN selection. I've been trying to assign a different default screen for the employees with these 3 options along with EMP# and CLK IN/OUT and then a keylink back to the main screen but I have not been able to get it to work properly. Because the FUNCTION LIST KEY LINK button on the Key Relocation screen defaults to 000 (no action), I don't know how to set that to cause it to go to the main menu which is Screen 0. So the new default screen just sits there after the EAT IN selection is made.
