thats because we know very little about them coz it aint just the manual that's cr*p!
i would agree that pop up/stay down would be an issue and would set them as pop up.
i dont have one to play with but i do have a 530 which uses very similar software - dont hold your breath!

ok - this is an educated guess
1 set up dallas codes
2 on employee screen go to dallas code and touch the key to the reciever at this point
3 finish setting up employee then move to the next employee and repeat 2

Andy - again thanks for the reply.

I can read the Dallas key and assign it to the employee ok. Its after this when you go and try signing on the till using the KeyFob that I'm getting the "INVALID CODE" error.

I understand that the SPS-520 machine uses the same SPS-2000 software so might troll around to see if I can see anything in their manuals...but I'm not holding out much hope. !bleh

Problem solved...... !Head

In PGM-EMPLOYEE mode the Operator Code value needs to be the same as the employee number.
In S-System Options - Option 56 "Dallas key sign on mandatory" changes to YES (Default is NO).

Et Voila - everyone signing on via Dallas Keys.

How in the name of goodness cant this be put in the programming / operator manual I will never know!!!
