Hi there

Attempting to assign Dallas keys to staff for easier access to the till - however although I can get the Dallas key read via the employee screen setup - its not allowing me to sign on for more than 1 employee (employee 1) :(

The first one I setup works fine - any subsequent ones although the Dallas key is read into the employee screen successfully doesn't allow sign on to the till and all it shows is either Invalid Sequence or No Data.

Anyone got any ideas what is going on!!! !what

Thanks
Ronnie

this is a long shot, only because no one else has replied but
you are absolutely sure that the dallas keys you are using are infact different and not just a clone of the first one?

Andy - Yes the Dallas keys are all different.

I'm thinking that it must be a global setting of some sort that is causing the issue. The EMPLOYEE screen options are all the same...with the exception of the Dallas Key Link field.

I'm stating to wonder if the Pop-up / Stay down sign-on option may have something to do with it or even something in the authority level.

The Operation manual and programming manuals are crap to say the least. EVERY bit of literature on this machine mentions the Dallas key sign on but nothing in both of the manuals on how to set it up apart from "contact your dealer" and my dealer does not have a clue and is as useful as a chocolate fire guard. lB
