Hi I have 2 cash drawers. Both work with each cable. I purchased a splitter cable which is compatible on this till. I set an employee to use drawer 2 and that works as stated in the 2nd port of the splitter. The problem is when both cables are connected into the splitter only the first drawer function. Does the 2nd drawer wire need to be wired differently to the first? (crossover or something). The only other thing I can think of is that the 2nd drawer is 24v?? I know the main one is only 12v.

The splitter should take care of the wiring for you.

However, don't mix cash drawer voltages. Find out what the till is rated for and only use those, or you will burn something out.
