Hi folks,

I have an ser-7000 that has 5 clerks defined that operate fine in the stay down, push button, setting.
The only problem I have is that as the till is used in a bar, two or more operators sometimes need to use it at the same time, but nomatter what I do, I cannot work out how to get a second user to sign on while the first still has a sale open.
I have tried everything I can think of regarding clerk interupt but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm sure it's some realy simple setting that I'm missing but I have read the programming manual from cover to cover more than once today and can't see anything in it about the problem.

In the prog options - mem allocation, clerk interupt is set to yes, # of lines for check/interupt is 30, and # of check tracking files is 2.

Any advice welcomed !

in s mode configuration set up the till number that holds the clerk interrupt data.
even if the till is stand alone set it up as if its networked first till =1 last till=1 means single till but activates various other functions - one of which is clerk interrupt.
you also have to have allocated memory for the clerk interrupt data in the initial set up - or its back to the beginning im afraid.
also check the number of checcks and lines per check are set high enough for your needs

Went into the settings and did as you suggested Andy apart from the allocated memory and it works fine now. Luckily I didn't have to do a full reset. Thanks for your help.
