I use the sps2000 in my restaurants but never had the need to save an unpaid order and then ring it up for payment. Our new place has a drive-thru window, and I am trying to figure out how to take a second order and save it while collecting payment for the 1st order. I know it may be a very simple operation, but I could not find anything on the manual. Please help.

Thank you

its called table tracking
you need to have set up enough check tracking files in memory allocation before programming. changing memory allocation now will reset all your programming.

if you enabled clerk interrupt, you may be able to "bodge it" unless of course you have a kitchen printer attached - this wont print the order of from a clerk interrupt

other areas of consideration are the number of checks set [this number is for open tables and open clereks] and also the number of items per check [in a restaurant this has to be a significant number - specially if you order drinks on the table too]
