Hi
If anyone can help that would be great, when you turn my register it has started to put out a high pitch noise and it gives a message E1, any suggestions greatly appreciated

Hi,
E1 is just operator error, it normally occurs when the wrong keys are pressed or the machine has got itself into a bit of a loop. At exactly which point does the message appear? is it when you press a certain key?
The first thing to try is an initial clear:
Turn the key to P
Press and hold SUBTOTAL
Whilst continuing to hold SUBTOTAL turn the power off... then back on
Continue to hold SUBTOTAL until the receipt stops printing
Turn the key to R and give it a test.
