Hi to everyone,

I'm a newbie :D I want to set up for offering a cash back facility in our shops, however trying to find instructions in the manual !dunce I wish to do a sale including a cash back transaction please??

Hope someone can help me, thank you

you are over thinking it - there's nothing to set up. if goods come to £12.34, and the customer wants £10.00 cash back, simply subtotal then tender 22.34 on the card button and give the change in cash.

Thank you but if it gets tendered that way then the Sales figure will be incorrect, as it includes card sales with the cash sales on the Z read for the day.

yup - but you cant have it both ways and its easy to work out, the cash will be down by the amount that the cards are over [from the card machine z report]

only the full blown computer based epos machines can cope with this properly - the 420 whilst being a very capable machine - doesn't fall into this category! i suppose you could use your received on account and paid out buttons - outside of a sale ..... 10 RA [reprogrammed to say cashback in] card RA. 10 PO reprogrammed to say cashback out cash] PO
but its a faff and if your shop is busy, i wouldn't want to be in the queue while you are sorting it out :cry:
