One final question on the SAM4s SPS-2000 (beginning to wonder if it was a good choice of system ! )
Having factory reset to adjust the memory allocations for a hospitality environment with table tracking etc, I don't have any preset tender keys i.e £5,£10,£20 - I'd have thought these were fundamental to any till/EPOS system.
I guess they have to be programmed as a Macro ? but how do I look up the fixed tender amount i.e 500,1000 or 2000 in the macro. I assume this would have to be a non-PLU lookup somewhere ?

there are 2 steps
1. you have to allocate the macro button to the payment screen in S mode
2. you then have to program the contents of the macro in pgm mode
Hi Andy, i've spent the best part of 9 hours trying to figure out how to make this macro tender an amount for 500 1000 or 2000. Do you know the steps id take on an sps2000 or which function i would use bind to the home screen.
any help you can give would be much appreciated, its driving me insane!!!
