My Sam4S ER 180 T is charging tax on the original amount instead of the discounted amount of the sale.
For example tax is 8.25 here in Texas, so on a 5.00 item the total with tax is 5.41. When I have a 10.00 item which is 50% off the total is $5.83 instead of $5.41. I can't figure out how to get the machine to tax the actual sale amount not the original price.
Please help! So frustrating!! Everything else on the machine seems to be working fine.
NVM figured it out! U have to program the discount key!!
If you give any discount in your product than you have to set this discount amount in your POS system. It is best for manage the tax and give the discount on sale. I think sam4s er 180t is not define discount on tax and give discount on sale for increase your business.

i think you should refrain from answering questions until your grasp of the enlish language is greatly improved!
in answer to the original question, set the machine to apply tax at the point of sale
so the procedure for a 1dollar item plus 10%tax
is
enter the price of the item into the department button hit sub total then the tax button then method of payment button such as cash total'
to discount the same item, enter the full price into the department button, then hit the %discount button then sub total then tax then method of payment eg cash total button.
hope this makes sense - at least its in english!
