Hi, please can someone help.
I have a Bixolon SRP275 connected to my SPS2000 as a kitchen printer.
Every so often items will not print out on the order, its very random.
Is it something to do with serial cable or programming?

how long is the serial cable?
excessivley long cables can pick up "noise" to the extent that the data is too degraded to process.
cable routing can also be a factor- if you run the cable parallel to mains or cctv cable.
if its the same items every time then it it likely to b e programming [incorrect status group?]
if an item sometimes goes and other times doesnt, its more likely to be cabling
i know the answer is a bit vague but without a site survey...........
