Hello,

I am new to this forum so please be kind if I have posted to the wrong area.

My problem is.

I run a small garden centre which has 3 separate sales areas within these area I have three Sam4s SPS 520 registers, one in each area, I have just connected them via a local network system ( ethernet ) and just installed samstock 4.9.3. so that it is easier to get the information I need.

I have looked through all of the posts on this forum and implemented all of the recommendations so that the set up would be as easy as it could be.

You've guessed it - it wont work, not a blink of life.

Can any one help please.

Many thanks

Graham Tapp.

Hi Graham
You will have noticed I'm having problems using this forum.
Your problem is easy to fix if you start again at the beginning.
Are the tills connected to the network?
Is the network connected to the internet?
Are you using IP addresses for comms?
Are the tills individually numbered?

Hello Alan,

Sorry I've not got back to you sooner, but we've had weather troubles - lots of flooding.
The network is not connected to the internet.
We are not using ip addresses for coms, but I have tried that as well.
the tills are individually numbered 1 to 3.

Do you think I should use the internet to connect them ie through my wireless hub using the ports at the back?

Many thanks

Graham
