Hi, I regretably let a memember of staff do some alterations on my SAM 4s ER-420m and now the till has completely locked us out 
It doesn't matter what mode it is in it display Mode Closed. If you try to do anything it just bleeps and say Time Error..... If I'm honest I think they have pressed to many programming and service codes trying to fix it before telling me ... Any sugesstion ..Dave
yes- try logging a clerk on to the system!
on very rare occasions - the till may have corrupted and requires a ram clear [have seen this error once or twice - but normally says void mode in all positions]

I have tried login on as a clerk just beeps and says warning time error..Tried a full ram clear, it say's Ram All Clear OK and set memory allocation to default. But does not clear the "Mode Closed" on all modes??? any other idea's

P mode 1300 subtotal etc etc etc.
