when i export data from samstock it completes without error but the file is not present in the directory that the export points to. interestingly if i repeat the export it says the file is already there and asks if i want to overwrite

any ideas

tried doing a windows search for the file name?

got it now - what i had done was to omit the file extension when creating the file
