Hello all

Okay I have now purchased Samstock, what I'd like to do is to input stock to the software. I've tried of the ECR using 250 command but comes up with 'STOCK ERROR', I don't want to manually put it in on Samstock as it's gonna take ages.

Any ideas !Chin

dont understand the question!
do you mean stock quantities
or do you mean products?

if thbe first, you dont! the clue is in the name of the program - samSTOCK handles that side of things, the till just sells stuff!

If you mean the second, open sam event, choose execute now and select your location
then from the events list, select send all products.

Thanks for the reply........I've entered all stock in Samstock and sent it to the till, how can I check that what I'm selling on the till gets updated on Samstock?

Also the reports for the day show up blank in Samstock, I've used Samevent to take all data off Z.

1. did you select the correct cash register type?
2. is the date and time set correctly on your pc?
3. what time did you set the "END OF DAY" time to?
4. what time did you run the report?
5. which reports are you running?
6. how did you set the stock quantities?

Stock is the hardest bit to get right and only works if you correctly process your orders, purchases and deliveries.
this is what updates your average cost price.

If you have only just purchased samstock, i would run with it for a few weeks to get used to its features and functions before you go for stock.

Just a thought but - where's the support from the company you purchased the software from?

I ALWAYS INCLUDE 8 HOURS TRAINING WHEN I SELL SAMSTOCK its only right - otherwise the software gets a bad name, when really its the lack of understanding thats at fault.
