Ok. thats what I needed. It seems very strange, as the settings are not tying in with what you told me to start with, but maybe there is just a discrepancy in the listing system. We'll have to try adjusting some settings now.

Turn key to PGM.
70
SUBTOTAL
131000
%1
CASH

Turn key back to reg, and see if it discounts the total sale. If not, do the program scan again, and tell me what the differences are.

Hi Mark,
I have done that and now the %1 key adds £100 to the total. I have printed out the program scan again and the information is exactly the same as yesterday.
I will try to work out how to put the settings back to how they were before so i can take the 10% off individual items again for now.
Kind Regards,
Brian

Right. thats what I was talking about. the printout told me that it was setup to do that. It is indicating that you have set it up for a surcharge instead of a discount, so I was amazed when you said you had been discounting with it. It looks like it is setup completely wrong for discounting. How did you program it for your discount originally?
