When I enter PLU's into the register the VAT calculates correctly. If I enter a PLU and then press
10 %1
to deduct 10% off an item, the VAT is calculated off the undiscounted price rather than the discounted price.

Hi. You might need to set the discount as VAT taxed.
If you do a prog scan for the percent keys, it will tell you if they are taxed.
Key to P mode.

Now I think you press the %1 button
CASH
That should print the details of the percent button. See if it has VAT applied.
