Hi all,

We started using card terminals in one of the shops.

Question is, can the CASH function key be used to complete card transactions? Or is it strictly cash transactions only?

I see no option to change the behaviour of the CASH function key. Would be nice to be able to touch CASH and an on screen option pop up asking if the transaction was being paid by cash or card.

At the moment I am using the MISC TEND1 function key to process card payments, I simply renamed its descriptor to CARD. It works, but I would like to know if there are other ways of keeping cash and card transactions separated for reconciliation purposes. Not only that, but staff sometimes hit the CASH key instead of the CARD key, which of course causes me issues with balancing the tills!

Thanks for your help :)

the misc tender is the way to go !thumbs - no you cant take cards with the cash key! !Head
but if you set compulsory change computation, it will slow down the staff just a tad - even if they hit cash by accident - you can cancel the error then go for the misc tend function
