i have come by a toshiba tec st-60 epos unit with windows 98 installed but does not start up i do have a old win 98 disk can any one help on how to do a clean install i would be much greatfull.
one has to ask why the clean install?
one also has to ask - why win 98?
i would suggest loading from a usb cdrom drive but - hey - win98 does not have usb support!
check to see if the bios supports booting from usb device

no reason just had a disk but it does not support usb boot too
i would leave it alone - if it aint broke, don't fix it!
depending on the amount of ram and the speed of the processor, could always go for xp?

it has win98 but dosent actualy boot in to the operating system it will freeze just at last moment tryed safe mode to fix same again cant seem to boot in to win98
