Welcome to EpoS Wizard!

Ok.
Firstly, the keys are not re-loacateable on the 3010, so Refund, clerk (cashier), etc should already be there. I'll see if I can find a layout for you. You have to login to use the machine if there is no green triangle at the left end of display. The clerk key is above the clear key. It may have a different label like CLK, or OPERATOR or LOGON. You type CLERK 1 CLERK, and the triangle should appear. Now it is ready to make sales. Press NS/# to do a no sale. If the drawer opens, then you're good to go. The media keys down the bottom right are for your payment methods. The default name for these is MISC 1,2,3 if you have original key labels. They are above subtotal. cash is below subtotal. Try them when finishing a sale, and see if they work, and what name is currently printing when using them.
Here is the prog for the store name on receipt. You will need to use the alphabet character codes in your manual.
The receipt logo lines can have 16 characters, but they must be entered in 2 lots of 8.
1. Turn the key to P mode.
2. To edit the first line, type 357 X X/Z then codes for first 8 characters X/Z SUBTOTAL X/Z then codes for second 8 Characters X/Z SUBTOTAL
3. To edit the second line, type 373 X X/Z then codes for first 8 characters X/Z SUBTOTAL X/Z then codes for second 8 Characters X/Z SUBTOTAL
4. To edit the third line, type 389 X X/Z then codes for first 8 characters X/Z SUBTOTAL X/Z then codes for second 8 Characters X/Z SUBTOTAL
5. To edit the fourth line, type 405 X X/Z then codes for first 8 characters X/Z SUBTOTAL X/Z then codes for second 8 Characters X/Z SUBTOTAL
6. Press #/NS
8. Turn key back to REG mode and enter a clerk by pressing CLERK 1 CLERK
Is this the same as your other manual?
Note the character codes are 3 digit types. I remember it starts at 041 for A, 042 for B...
Give it a try, and see how you get on.

Hi Mark
Thanks for that. I have managed to get the company details on the receipt, but now, whne I turn key to anything other than P or OFF the till is buzzing. I haven't been able to get anywhere by pressing Clerk key or the #/NS key. Still not able to open the drawer either. Any ideas?
Valerie

Hi.
That means you forgot to hit #/NS at the end of programming.
Turn back to P then press CLEAR to get rid of the error off the screen, then press #/NS.
It should printout, then turn the key back to REG, and log your clerk back on.
Mark

Hi Mark
The buzzing has stopped and back to time display on screen. I have truned key to Reg, but nothing happens when I press CLERK 1 CLERK. the number 1 appears but nothing happens. When I press #/NS it beeps and E appears.
Valerie

Ok. we are getting there. Some programmers set them up so that you only need to type 1 CLERK, so try that first. Otherwise, it sounds like it has been setup for special clerk functions, or secret codes. We can read the clerk codes to see what they are currently set to.
Turn key to X mode
0102 X CLERK
This should print a list of clerks, and their codes.
Go back to Reg mode and use the code to log on. You can have a max of 4 digits for a clerk, so if clerk 1 has the code 1342, then in REG mode type CLERK 1342 CLERK
