vat on an olivetti ecr-5900

Hi,

I don't know much about the Olivetti cash register range because I've never actually touched one but from what I can gather from the manual this is the procedure to Link departments to Tax Rates:

Turn the key to PRG
Press the 'Dept shift & code' key
Key in the Department number that you wish to change (1 to 99)
Press #/NS
Enter the required 7 digit status code as detailed below
Press Check
Press 'Amt Tend TOTAL' to finish

This is the 7 digit status code for Non Vat - 0060001

This is the 7 digit status code for Vat 1 - 0060101

This is the 7 digit status code for Vat 2 - 0060201

This is the 7 digit status code for Vat 3 - 0060301

This is the 7 digit status code for Vat 4 - 0060401

You may have to leave of the 00 at the beginning of each and just enter for example 60301 for Vat 3 etc.
