Does the terminal boot, if you connect a VGA monitor to the terminal can you see the screen then?

I might suggest that perhaps the PSU is blown?

Other than that, try calling your IT helpdesk? They can organise a replacement...

sorry Theresa to hijack this!

Hi Colusus I didn't know what you meant by vga monitor, so I showed this to justin he knows about this stuff. he's plug a pc monitor into it and you can see icrtouch on it when it starts. When we press things on the main screen of the till we can see what we press on the pc monitor.

he seems to think that we just need to tell windows which monitor is the main monitor and that it has probably just got confused. he says he cannot understand how to do this though because it is using Windows CE and not Windows XP. he says he's never seen CE before and doesn't know how to change that setting, can you tell us how?

to theresa -> if you havent already tried, try plugging a pc monitor into the little pc monitor socket underneath the machine to see if it works.
