We've started taking deposits on our table reservations and wanted to see how users are handling these at checkout. How would this be the easiest on the register, say table checks out and has done 4x deposits of 5€ each...have a 5€ deposit deduction button of some sort that would off the table total sales???

The simplest way is to use a negative PLU for the deposit value.
And that would deduct from sales totals also, yeah I guess [emoji106]

Correct. Just make sure you set up the tax on it as you need.
We always set two PLUs, one to take the deposit in, and one to redeem it, and set them both to zero VAT - that way the tax is taken correctly off the products which are actually sold, and there is no tax liability on the deposit itself.
