Transfer of ICR Touch

Simon why don't you just give icr a call, they're all really nice and will probably talk to you. what are you guys selling instead these days?

i might be able to help with your question though. for old icrs which this one might be you can simply resintatll it on the new machine and copy the whole folder across and move the dongle with it. for newer ones they link them to the till now which is probably what colossal is saying about. you can move them around as much as you like for free for the first 2 years so if it was less than 2 years ago you can still move it if not you need to phone them and theyll move it, they charge for this but its not very much at all and we always pass it on to the customer anyway. if hes had it for 7 years im sure he cant complain to much

I have dropped ICR a contact so they will hopefully get back to me sometime today, if not then I'll chase them up.

Nowadays we sell CES Touch, SharpPOS and Dinerware. The decision to stop selling ICR was taken years ago, long before I joined the company.

We used to sell geller touch which i think is the same as ces but stopped when they went bankrupt we looked at dinerware because the boss is often looking at different alternatives to icr, but it looked very american and was expensive if i remember. how do you find it?

Geller Touch was basically CES Touch rebranded. Consolis bought the CES brand and it is still going.

Dinerware is very simple and clean, but not very customisable. Having said that, we have a few customers who love it for the simplicity of changing products, prices etc, and it integrates very well with WaveSoft for the iPad hand-held link.

I've spoken to ICR and am progressing down that route, thanks very much.
