Hi all,
We have a very old customer of ours from back when we used to sell ICR - about 7 years ago. This means that I've never touched the software before.
Their existing machine is dying a slow death and we are going to supply them with a new system, but they want to keep ICR. How easy, or not, is it to transfer, and are there any issues with relicensing for the new platform?
Any help and advice gratefully taken.

That depends on how it was licensed in the first place and you will need the payment code, I suggest you speak to ICR or whoever supplied you with the software
The licences are not transferable between machines, if you contact ICRTouch they will be able to offer you a migration of the licence for a reduced charge.

Just to clarify, If i install ICRTOUCH and then my hardware dies, and i have to replace, i am charged to reinstall ICRTOUCH on another machine.
Isn't it so dodgy? Many POS software suppliers do this. I'm dying to see it tested in court.
