Tills keep disconnecting from eachother

I have 4 ICR Touch Xn900 tills on my network, all connected through one 'Master Till'. For some reason they keep disconnecting from each other during service and I have to ICR initialise or turn them off & back again to reconnect. This can happen 4 or 5 times a night!

Is there any thing that I can do to stop this. A customer mentioned the cables may have old information in them 'congesting' the information highway! (or something to that effect...I am not the most technical savvy person in the world!!

Help will be appreciated

The cables don't store any information in the same way that a television aerial doesn't store the programmes. The only thing that can happen to a router is its cache can fill up, but all you do is a flush dns. However none of that will affect you.
Most likely the cables aren't making a good connection or are broken inside. The main one to check though is the one from the master till to the router/switch/hub since that one will affect all the other terminals. Of course the router/switch/hub itself could be going faulty.
