Does anybody have an idea how to search PLU groups or departments by a keyword or such? I have a ghost PLU item that keeps popping up in reports that I need to locate by GROUP or DEPT name...

Reports directly on the till, or on back office software?
You can search the PLU name alphabetically in PLU prog mode.

I do reports on the register, do not have back office software. Yes I can search PLU names in program mode but my problem is in either DEPT or PLU GROUP...

Could you elaborate a bit on your original question please, as I'm not sure I get what you mean by 'Ghost PLU appearing on reports'

Run a PLU Sales report sorted by dept or group, that way you'll see exactly which depts the plus that you've sold are linked to
